Criteria for Selection& Examination

(a) Qualifying Tests:

Haryana Staff Selection Commission will invite candidates based on merit in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for the following qualifying tests:

(b)Physical Measurement Test (PMT):

  • Candidates undergo the PMT as per standards in Appendix-B of Haryana Police (Non-Gazetted and Other Ranks) Service Rules, 2017.
  • Standard digital measurement devices will be used to ensure accuracy and transparency.
  • Results will be displayed on the official website.
  • Candidates failing to meet PMT standards will be eliminated.
  • Only those qualifying PMT will proceed to the next stage.

(c) Physical Screening Test (PST):

  • Candidates who pass PMT will undergo PST to assess physical fitness and endurance.
  • Standards for PST:
    • Male: 2.5 Kilometer in 12 Minutes
    • Female: 1.0 Kilometer in 6 Minutes
    • Ex-Serviceman: 1.0 Kilometer in 5 Minutes
  • RFID or superior technology may be used for reliability, as decided by the Haryana Staff Selection Commission.
  • Candidates must meet medical fitness requirements for PST.
  • Results will be displayed on the official website.
  • Candidates failing to meet PST standards will be eliminated.
